The Week of Departure

It's the week of my departure to Europe, and I'm starting to get all the last minute details organized - weighing my baggage, buying power plug converters, keeping my travel documents in order. Wednesday afternoon I'm off to Grand Rapids, MI where I will get to spend one day and two nights with my room mate and soon-to-be-sister. On the 27th of August, I'll fly across the Atlantic to Lyon, France where I will spend one lovely night in the airport before boarding one more flight to Copenhagen. I am beyond excited to be spending over 3 days with Carsten in Denmark before he returns to Calvin for the fall and I return to France to begin my semester. I hope to be updating this blog fairly regularly, in order to keep those who may be curious up to date on my semester in Grenoble, France.
